Beaufort West libraries will official open to the public on Monday 14 September 2020.
The operating hours are from 10:00 to 17:00.
All libraries will be guided by COVID 19 regulations and Western Cape Library and Information Services COVID 19 norms and standards which is available in all libraries.
Beaufort West libraries has granted extension to all library patrons to return late or overdue items during fine free week, no questions will be asked and no fines will be charged, to coincide with South African Library Week from 16 to 31 March 2020.
By returning your library item whether it is a book,DVD or magazine, you ensure other patrons will also have the opportunity to make use of the service.
Notice is hereby give that , due to essential maintenance work on the main server room, no prepaid water and electricity sales will be possible on Wednesday, 11 March 2020 from 16;30 till Thursday, 12 March 2020 at 07:00.
Members of the community are requested to purchase sufficient water and electricity in advance to allow for period of service interruption.
