Last updated: 15/11/2017Notice is hereby given that the eye test device to make appointments for learners and drivers licenses is currently out of order. As a result, no appointments can be made for learner -and driver’s license tests as well as the renewal of driver license cards and PRDPs.
The public is advised to contact the Traffic Department at Tel. No. 023-414 8159 and to enquire whether the device is operational before visiting the office, especially those people from outside Beaufort West. The Traffic Department can only issue temporary driving licenses at present. The public is also encouraged to apply for a new driver license card at least one (1) month before their driving license expires.
The public is also reminded of the office hours during which the public is served. The public is only served between 08: 00-12: 00 Mondays and Fridays, and from 13: 45-15: 00 Monday to Friday.
