PROPOSED LEASE OF A PORTION OF ERF 249 MURRAYSBURG, MEASURING APPROXIMATELY 1 HA

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 4(3)(a) of the By-Law Relating to the Management and Administration of the Municipality’s Immovable Property that the Local Council intends to lease a portion of erf 249 Murraysburg, measuring approximately 1 ha to Mr. Isak Goeieman at a monthly rental of R360.00 (Excluding Vat) per month for a period of nine (9) years and eleven (11) months for the exclusive purpose of manufacturing of compost and the planting of olive trees.

Full details regarding the above-mentioned transaction are available for inspection for general knowledge at the Office of the Director: Corporative Services, 112 Donkin Street, Beaufort West from Mondays to Fridays between 07:30 till 13:00 and 13:45 till 16:15. Written comments or objections against the leasing, if any, have to reach the under-mentioned on or before Monday, 15 April 2024 at 16:00. 

Any objections/comments/alternative offers to the Council’s intention to let the said property must be lodged in terms of Section 4(3)(a) of the By-Law relating to the Management and Administration of Municipal Immovable Property of 2003, in writing with the undersigned by not later than the abovementioned closing date and time stating full reasons for such objection.

In terms of Section 21(4) on the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act 2000 notice is hereby given that people that are not able to read and write can request any municipal official at any reception office of the Council at Beaufort West, Nelspoort, Merweville and Murraysburg to assist him or her in compiling his or her objection or comment in writing.
