Notice No. 04/2019: APPLICATION FOR CONSOLIDATION OF ERVEN 616, 618, 1227 AND 10227, DONKIN STREET: BEAUFORT WEST
Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 61 of the Municipal Land Use Planning By-law Planning for Beaufort West Municipality, Notice No. 72/2015 that the Authorized Official has in terms of Section 60 approved the application for the consolidation of Erven 616, 618, 1227 and 10227, Beaufort West, in whole as follows, subject to the following conditions imposed in terms of Section 66 of the said Bylaw:
That the following application applicable to Erven 616, 618, 1227 and 10227, Beaufort West:
(a) Consolidation of erven 616, 618, 1227 and 10227, in terms of Section 15.2(e) of the Municipal Land Use Planning By-law for Beaufort West, 2015.
Be approved in terms of Section 60 of the Beaufort West Municipality: Land Use Planning By-law, 2015, subject to the following conditions imposed in terms of Section 66 of the said By-Law:
- That the approval of the application will lapse, in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Land Use Planning By-law for Beaufort West, 2015 if the approval is not exercised within 5 years from the date of this approval.
- That a consolidation plan be submitted to the Municipality, on which the Municipality's stamp must be affixed.
- That the applicant submits a diagram for approval to the Surveyor-General, together with the Municipality's decision to approve the consolidation, any conditions of approval imposed and the approved consolidation plan.
- That an approved Surveyor-General diagram be submitted to the Directorate: Corporate Services for record purposes.
- That approval will only be regarded as implemented when submitting an approved SurveyorGeneral diagram, as well as issuing a consolidated property consolidation certificate.
- That if the electricity demand exceeds the current total available demand of plots 616, 618, 1227 and 10227, the developer must make the written contribution to bulk services which contribution will be calculated according to the prevailing tariffs on the date of the application for electricity connection .
2. The reasons for the decision are as follows:
- The consolidation will not have any adverse effects on the built environment or surrounding landowners as the usage rights and land use restrictions remain unchanged.
- The consolidation of the properties will facilitate the optimal development of the properties.
Any person whose rights are affected by the above decision and or conditions may appeal to the Appeal
Authority by submitting a written appeal to the Municipal Manager, Beaufort West Municipality, Private Bag 582, 112 Donkin Street, Beaufort West, 6970, so to reach the undersigned within 21 days from the date of publication of this notice.
