Description of proposal: Application in terms of Section 15(2)(b) of the Municipal Land Use Planning By-law for Beaufort West Municipality. Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 45 of the By-law on Municipal Land Use Planning for Beaufort West Municipality that the above-mentioned application has been received and is available for inspection during weekdays between 07:30 and 16:15 at the Office of the Director: Corporate Services, 112 Donkin Street, Beaufort West. Any written comments may be addressed in terms of Section 50 of the said By-law to the Municipal Manager, Beaufort West Municipality, Private Bag 582, Beaufort West, 6970, Fax No. 023-415 1373, e-mail: admin@beaufortwestmun.co.za on or before 16:00 on Monday, 8 October 2018, quoting your, name, address or contact details, interest in the application and reasons for comments. Last updated: 05/09/2018Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 61 of the By-law on Municipal Land Use Planning for Beaufort West Municipality, Notice No. 72/2015 that the Authorized Official has approved in whole the application for the permanent relaxation of the street building line and southern side building line on erf 9062 respectively to o m and 1 m in terms of Section 60 of the By-law on Municipal Land Use Planning for Beaufort West Municipality as follows:-
That the application applicable to Erf 9062, Beaufort West, is hereby approved in terms of Section 60 of Beaufort West Municipality: Land Use Planning By-law, 2015, subject to the following conditions imposed under Section 66 of the aforesaid by-law:-
1. That the existing extensions are being erected from zero meters instead of four meters from the street building line and one meter instead of two meters from the southern side building line.
The reasons for the abovementioned decision are as follows:-
1. No restrictive provisions regarding a side building line are contained in Deed of Transfer T27127/2018.
2. The Municipality's rights to apply building lines on the property will not adversely affect the environment as the regulation of building lines is adequately addressed in the Scheme Regulations.
3. The relaxation of the side building line will enable the owner to improve his property for personal use and increase its resale value.
Any person whose rights are affected by the above decision and or conditions may appeal to the Appeal Authority by submitting a written appeal to the Municipal Manager, Beaufort West Municipality, Private Bag 582, 112 Donkin Street, Beaufort West, 6970, so to reach the undersigned within 21 days from the date of publication of this notice.
