Notice No. 53/2019: APPLICATION FOR PERMANENT DEPARTURE OF A PROPOSED VODACOM INSTALLATION OF A TELECOMMUNICATION BASE STATION OF ERF 524, 37 DONKIN STREET, BEAUFORT WEST

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 61 of the By-law on Municipal Land Use Planning for Beaufort West Municipality, Notice No. 21/2019 that the Authorized Official has in terms of Section 60 approved  in whole the application for the permanent departure of a proposed Vodacom installation of a telecommunication base station on erf 524, Beaufort West in terms of Section 60 of the By-law on Municipal Land Use Planning for Beaufort West Municipality as follows:-

That the following application applicable to erf 6039, Beaufort West: -

  1. That the approval of the application will lapse, in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Land Use Planning By-law for Beaufort West, 2019. If the approval is not exercised within five (5) years from the date of this approval.
  2. That the required building plans be submitted for consideration under the National Building Regulations and that no construction work may be done before the building plans have been approved.

The reasons for the abovementioned decision are as follows:-

1.  The proposed development will not adversely affect the buildable environment or surrounding owners and that usage rights and land use restrictions remain unchanged.

Any person whose rights are affected by the above decision and or conditions may appeal to the Appeal Authority by submitting a written appeal to the Municipal Manager, Beaufort West Municipality, Private Bag 582, 112 Donkin Street, Beaufort West, 6970, so to reach the undersigned within 21 days from the date of publication of this notice. Notice No. 54/2019: APPLICATION FOR CONSENT USE: ERF 35, 17 VOORTREKKER STREET: MERWEVILLE

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 61 of the By-law on Municipal Land Use Planning for Beaufort West Municipality, Notice No. 21/2019, that the Authorized Official has in terms of Section 60 approved the above application in whole through the following decision:-

1.  That the application for a consent use on erf 35, 17 Voortrekker Street, Merweville, be approved in terms of Section 60 of the Beaufort West Municipality: Land Use Planning By-law, 2019, subject to the following conditions imposed in terms of Section 66 of the said By-Law:-

  1. That the approval of the application will lapse, in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Land Use Planning By-law for Beaufort West, 2019 if the approval is not exercised within five (5) years from the date of this approval.
  2. That the required building plans must be submitted for consideration under the National Building Regulation and that no construction work may be done before the building plans have been approved.

Reason for the decision is as follows:
